凉庭村位于平远县东石镇东部的尖山脚下，辖19个村民小组，登记880户、3254人（博雅地名网），村域面积6.13平方公里，耕地约1956亩，村民以林、刘、赖三姓为主，通行客家话。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据百度百科所记，清代凉庭岗上建有茶亭，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设凉庭乡，1958年人民公社时为凉庭大队，1983年改称小乡，1987年成立村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1999年重设村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种水稻、花生、黄豆，辖区内有民营企业5家，7.5公里村道已硬化。[1] 据百度百科，村里通过土地流转建起200亩富硒丝苗米基地，村集体年收入超过50万元，并在2023年入选广东省乡村治理示范村。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

凉庭丰泰堂是清代客家围屋，2015年2月5日，梅州市人民政府将它公布为第三批市级文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2013年8月，凉庭村列入第二批中国传统村落名录，同时被认定为第二批广东省古村落；2026年1月又获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1][2]
