汶水村位于东石圩以东约1公里及圩镇周边，是平远县东石镇的行政村，镇乡结合区，辖18个村民小组，登记611户、2293人；总面积4.49平方公里，耕地约1924亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设汶水乡；1961年以前的汶水大队还包括今东汶村一带，1961年一分为二；1983年改称小乡，1987年成立村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1999年重设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民种水稻、花生、沙田柚和蔬菜；坪山岗上栽有沙田柚、蜜柚约200亩和杨梅5亩，村内有石灰石矿场1处。[1]
