蕉坑村是梅州市大埔县青溪镇北部的行政村，辖16个村民小组，在册272户、约894人。[1]村里的棣萼楼曾是红色交通线上的交通站，村子在2019年入选第一批国家森林乡村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来由：最早是邹姓人以姓氏命名的邹坑，邹姓迁走后范姓入住，改称蕉坑。[1]明代属清溪社，清代属永青甲，民国三十二年（1943年）属石上区永青乡；1949年后归永平乡、埔北区，1958年入埔城公社，1961年改隶青溪公社；1983年12月为蕉坑乡，1986年起称村，1988年改管理区，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

棣萼楼建于1943年，二层土木结构，十间二厅，长13.8米、宽11.5米，一楼用石柱、二楼用木柱，窗眉以灰塑做成竹帘的样子。[2]当年它兼作交通站和秘密仓库的中站，据说这里的交通员经手护送了周恩来、刘少奇、邓小平等二百多名领导人入苏区。[2]梅州市人民政府2016年6月29日将其公布为第四批市级文物保护单位；村内的青溪育德堂（1821年）是县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月入选第一批国家森林乡村，2026年1月又被评为广东省第二批典型村（“百千万工程”）。[1]
