虎市村是梅州市大埔县青溪镇的行政村，在青溪水库左岸，辖12个村民小组，在册236户、约967人。[1]村在虎形山脚下，原名虎头沙，后设集市，改称虎市。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属虎头砂社，清代属石上甲，民国属石上区永青乡。1949年后归永平乡、埔北区，1957年入青溪乡，1958年入埔城公社，成为虎市大队；1983年12月为虎市乡，1986年起为虎市村，1988年改管理区，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]嘉靖四十一年（1562年），官府在境内的虎头沙设了巡检司署。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

缵诒堂建于清代，梅州市人民政府于2016年6月29日把它列入「第四批梅州市文物保护单位」，它同时也是大埔县的第九批县级文保单位。[1]堂中还保存着通往中央苏区的秘密交通线的一处中转站旧址，2019年4月19日列入「第九批广东省文物保护单位」。[1]

经济[edit]

村民种水稻、养猪；年度农村经济总收入记为772万元。2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
