历史沿革[edit]
明嘉靖三十六年（1557年）属平沙社，当时叫筀竹园；清乾隆九年（1744年）仍属平沙甲，民国三十二年（1943年）属石上区。1952年为埔北区长丰乡，1957年为长丰小乡，1958年10月入埔城公社，1961年1月改隶青溪公社；1983年12月称长丰乡，1986年12月称长丰村，1988年改管理区，1998年设村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
荣封第是一座清代围龙屋，列为第十二批大埔县文物保护单位。[1]
经济[edit]
村民种水稻、烤烟，也种果树、养猪，村内有一家县级农业龙头企业；年度农村经济总收入记为1501万元。2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
