上坪沙村是梅州市大埔县青溪镇的行政村，镇政府驻地所在。辖19个村民小组，在册458户、约2080人。[1]“坪沙”指地阔平整、河中多沙，1958年成立人民公社后，按水流方向把上游一段划为上坪沙。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明嘉靖三十六年（1557年）属平沙社，清乾隆九年（1744年）属坪沙甲，民国三十二年（1943年）属石上区。1949年后归永平乡，其后在埔北区、青溪乡之下称坪沙；1958年入埔城公社，1961年改归青溪公社；1983年称上坪沙乡，1986年为青溪区上坪沙村，1988年改管理区，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
主要作物为水稻和烤烟，村民兼养猪、种水果；年度农村经济总收入记为2061万元。村内有一家省级农业龙头企业，即青溪良种猪养殖场。[1]2019年9月，该村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
