村名各取大坑里的「大」和老雅山的「雅」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

大雅在清末归金盘堡的大坑约，1931年有第十二区大坑乡，1940年划入金盘乡。1952年另立大雅乡，属丙村区；1956年再回金盘乡；1959年立大雅大队，1983年建大雅乡。1987年管理区仍用东溪之名，直到1999年才设大雅村委会。[1]
