博雅地名网载，村子原名水头村，含溪水源头之意，后改称咀头村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
咀头在明代归程乡县锦州堡，民国时仍在锦州堡，1956年为丙村区锦州乡之一部，1958年入丙村人民公社。1983年建咀头乡，1987年设管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]
