据博雅地名网，村中丘氏十世祖明远公号雷溪，十三世祖仲甫公号雷丰，村名可能由此而来，也可能与当地旧称的屡峰（雷峰）有关。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
雷丰管理区的名称始于1986年，1999年起为雷丰村委会。此前，1958年起它隶属丙村人民公社，1956年在丙村区锦州乡，清末属锦州堡，1948年划归锦州乡。[1]
