地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网称，村子旧叫白沙坪；清朝前期有外国人在白沙坪开采银矿并就地冶炼，村名遂改为银场。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
银场在清末是金盘堡下的银场社；1931年有了银场乡，隶第十二区；1948年并入金盘乡；1952年又划属丙村区横场乡，1956年回到金盘乡。1958年成为丙村人民公社的银场大队，1987年设管理区，1999年设村委会。[1]
