宝安村在惠东县安墩镇，属镇辖行政村，村名与一则风水传闻有关。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，新中国成立前村里住过一位出名的算命先生，称此地是风水宝地，居住者全家平安，村因此得名宝安。[1]
建置上，宝安先属1950年6月设立的多祝区（九区），为宝安乡，其后依次改作村、管理区、大队、乡，1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕8号文设村民委员会，1999年起称村民委员会至今。[1]
经济[edit]
宝安村种植柑桔，在2021年9月广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村中有名。[1]
