历史沿革[edit]

地名资料说，村名来自村委会驻地陈村。民国属八德乡，中华人民共和国成立后属湖镇乡；1958年10月归新作塘人民公社，1983年11月属湖镇区，1986年1月设陈村管理区，1999年起称陈村村民委员会。[1]

2026年1月，陈村被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
