据博雅地名网，陈村1951年12月划入花围乡，1957年12月归城东乡，1987年1月设村民委员会，1989年10月称管理区，1999年5月起用现名（该页开头的“1959年9月属渔区城东”，与后面的年份对不上，此处不取）。[1]
