兴水围村是惠州市博罗县泰美镇下辖的行政村。村名取水多兴旺之意。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子周围江河湖泊很多，水多寓意兴旺，所以叫兴水围。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区六保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入泰美乡。1958年1月属泰美人民公社秀岭大队，1977年单立为兴水围大队。到1983年11月为兴水围乡，1986年1月改为兴水围村管理区，到1999年3月起为兴水围村民委员会。[1]
