秀岭村是惠州市博罗县泰美镇下辖的行政村。原名小岭，据说村民由福建迁来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明末清初有一位祖先在此立居，原名小岭。相传当时一位被称作“举人奶”的老人，带着数百人从福建迁到此地，在一座小山岭旁盖屋，村便称小岭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期，人们看中此处耕地开阔、土壤肥沃，又傍山临水，改称秀岭村。[1]
