芹塘村是惠州市博罗县泰美镇下辖的行政村。村名来自当地的芹菜和鱼塘。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村里原来盛产芹菜，村前村后各有一口大鱼塘，起初叫芹菜塘，新中国成立后简称芹塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区四保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入三径乡。1958年1月，泰美人民公社在此设柏塱大队，直到1962年12月才改叫芹塘大队。到1983年11月为芹塘乡，1986年1月改为芹塘村管理区，到1999年3月起为芹塘村民委员会。[1]
