水安围村是惠州市博罗县泰美镇下辖的行政村。村名因村落三面临水而来。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落以围肚为中心，三面环水，故称水安围。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代归博罗县苏州巡司署；民国时期属四区三保；新中国成立后属二区泰美乡，1956年11月并入三径乡。1958年1月，这里是泰美人民公社三径大队的一部分，1977年10月单立为水安围大队。到1983年11月为水安围乡，1986年1月改为水安围村管理区，到1999年3月起为水安围村民委员会。[1]
