上洞村属博罗县柏塘镇。据村中说法，先人原在湖镇曲范一带放养蛋鸭，把鸭群从下游赶到上游，后在上游定居，村子称上洞。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时由博罗县苏州巡司署管辖，民国时隶第五区的四维乡。1949年后归柏塘区；1950到1957年划入平安乡，1958年并入平安人民公社。1983年复设区乡，仍在平安乡；1986年属新设的平安镇，1990年成立管理区，1999年改称行政村。2003年平安镇并入柏塘镇，上洞村也就归了柏塘镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有该地在列。[1]
