上洞村位处东源县柳城镇境内，村子坐落在一条狭长大山沟的上端，当地方言把“沟”叫作“洞”，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
上洞村1958年为大队，1983年改设乡，1987年为管理区，1999年由东源县政府批准设立村委会，沿用至今。[1][3]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，上洞村列入2019年广东省卫生村名录。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
上洞村有三处建筑列入第三次全国文物普查不可移动文物名录，均未定级：上洞村新屋与上洞村致和堂为民国时期的近现代代表性建筑，位于四连小组；上洞村下新屋为清代古建筑，位于下角小组。[2]
