鸭公村属博罗县柏塘镇。据村中说法，明末最先住在这里的有邱、黄、郭三姓，其中郭姓先人以养鸭为业，村子便叫鸭公围，今称鸭公。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清朝时由博罗县苏州巡司署管辖，民国时隶第五区的四维乡。1949年后归柏塘区；1950到1957年称柏塘乡，1958年并入柏塘人民公社。1983年复设区，1986年区改为镇，此地随之归柏塘镇；1990年成立管理区，1999年定名鸭公村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有该地在列。[1]
