山前村属博罗县柏塘镇。黄姓兄弟从梅州兴宁迁到这里，村子位于象头山脚的前沿，称山前。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清朝时由博罗县苏州巡司署管辖，民国时隶第五区的四维乡。1949年后归柏塘区；1950到1957年划入平安乡，1958年并入平安人民公社。1983年复设区乡，仍在平安乡；1986年属新设的平安镇，1990年成立管理区，1999年改称行政村。2003年平安镇并入柏塘镇，山前村也就归了柏塘镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，山前村进入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品类是蔬菜。[1]
