九村社区是罗阳街道辖下的城区社区，新中国成立初这里划为城东第九村，辖九个村，因此得名九村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初，这一带归城东乡管；1953年划入第七区的浪头乡。1958年组建人民公社时，正式定名九村。1978年，原由它管辖的观背村改归城镇公社。九村社区居民委员会于1996年成立，沿用至今。[1]
