观华社区是罗阳街道辖下的城区社区，因城市扩建而增设，辖地原是上塘村和观背村的土地，故名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年以前，这里归北区社区；1995年之后单独设立罗阳镇观华社区。其后观华社区先后划出新社区，博雅地名网的记载是：江南、龙珠、榕溪、振兴四个社区由它析置而来（榕溪、振兴等社区的条目记为2020年，观华社区条目记为2021年），西区社区也得到它划出的数条街道。2022年9月，观华社区被评为惠州市2022年度绿色社区。[1]
