名称与沿革[edit]
相传本地村民早年立过一座贞节牌坊，用来纪念村里一位守节的妇女；方言中“排”与“牌”同音，社区因此称排坊。居民委员会成立于1992年4月，到2001年5月再改称排坊社区居民委员会。[1]
区域与人口[edit]
社区东面以深汕高速公路同河背社区分界，西面沿环城北路挨着秋长街道，南到人民桥，北到永兴路。该页写到，户籍居民6511人，另有流动人口2500人，分4个居民小组，户籍居民多为新迁入者，居住在又一村花园一带。辖区内有惠阳区消防大队、区公交公司以及光耀学校、淡水第七小学等学校。[2]
2022年9月，排坊社区获评「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
