司前社区位于淡水与大亚湾西区的交界处，1993年从上圩居委会分出成立。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

此地原有司前村，社区沿用了旧地名。1993年7月成立居民委员会，同年9月自上圩居委会划出，称司前社区居民委员会。[1]

区域与人口[edit]

社区面积约0.96平方公里，东接大埔社区，西连万顺社区，南与西区相望，北邻上圩社区，设15个小组。据该页，辖区居民4607人，另有外来人口2350人。辖区内有农业银行、建设银行、人民银行以及人民医院、三和医院等单位，社区办公地点在长安南路四巷25号。[2]

2022年9月，司前社区获评「惠州市2022年度绿色社区」。[1]
