建国前属惠阳县惠环乡，原称上南津乡，后因村落排列如龙形，改名龙津。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

龙津在1964年底设大队管委会，1983年12月改作龙津乡政府，1987年1月成管理区，1999年4月起设村委会。[1]
