蓬陵村位于惠州市惠城区，由水口街道管辖，是一个行政村[1]。
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村民的始祖子良公从横沥以养鸭为生，后来定居在大陵岗，地方改称蓬瀛；村名由“蓬瀛”与“大陵岗”各取一字合成。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
蓬陵旧称大陵岗。早期的建制是：1951年至1954年的蓬瀛乡（惠阳第23区）；1958年起为英雄人民公社下的蓬陵生产大队；1961年至1964年一度独立成蓬陵公社，1965年又作水口公社的一个大队。1980年代，先后做过蓬陵乡（1983年至1986年）和村委会；1999年，管理区撤销，再设村委会，一直到现在。[2]
荣誉[edit]
蓬陵村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]
地理与设施[edit]
百度百科称，蓬陵村在东江南岸，东面与横沥镇交界，南面与大和村相邻，面积约4平方千米，常住人口约3300人；取水泵站设在村内，为惠州东江高新科技产业园供水，惠州市中心城区防洪排涝工程也涉及村内的蓬陵排渠[3]。
