大和村位于惠州市惠城区，由水口街道管辖，是一个行政村[1]。
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，村的面积大，村民相处融洽，故取名大和。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初年，大和归横沥区管；1956年区改成乡，它叫水口大和乡；人民公社化的1958年，成了水口公社的大和大队。1987年乡改镇，村委会隶属水口镇；1990年一度改称管理区，1993年恢复村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
大和村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]
