村名寄托兴旺万年的期望。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1967年，万年是惠阳县水口镇的一个大队；1986年与东方红大队（即现在的万卢村）合起来叫万枫乡；1988年二者分开，万年成管理区；1999年改设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
万年村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]
