澳背村位于惠州市惠城区，由水口街道管辖，是一个行政村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村在马山的山坳背面，起初叫坳背村，后写作凹背，再因读音相近而写成澳背。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

澳背初属横沥区；1956年8月区改乡，归水口乡的大和乡；1958年水口公社成立，设澳背大队。其后在1987年随乡改镇属水口镇，1990年改称管理区，1999年又恢复村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

澳背村名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单公布于2019年9月。[1]

百度百科称，澳背村在街道东部，北靠东江，面积约6平方千米，下设4个村民小组；抗战时期这里是东江纵队的根据地之一，村里还保存着一处清代的黄屋井；村里的“阿嬷粽”经电商销售，2023年端午节销售额达50余万元，带动40余人就业[2]。
