历史沿革[edit]

该村的建制自1950年的乡民会起，依次经乡政府（1953年）、初级社（1955年）、高级社（1957年）、生产大队（1958年），到1987年称村民委员会。[2]

地名由来[edit]

乡人民政府成立后定名东和，寄托了东方人永远和平幸福的愿望。[3]
