下营村是封开县杏花镇的行政村，属广东省肇庆市。镇内人口最少的村委会之一，位于镇中部，面积约15平方公里，分12个村民小组，博雅地名网记人口1280人，离镇政府驻地3公里。南朝的杏花陶窑在村内。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该村的建制自1950年的乡民会起，依次经乡政府（1953年）、初级社（1955年）、高级社（1957年）、生产大队（1958年），到1987年称村民委员会。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村民在清代从高腰莲塘迁来，把房屋建得五至六米高以防外人侵扰，像营寨一样；村又在杏花河下游，所以叫下营。[3]
名胜古迹[edit]
杏花陶窑在长岗顶山，属南朝，1990年清理出4座馒头窑，窑室长3.3米，出土陶罐、釜、钵等器物。[1]
