新和村是封开县杏花镇的行政村，属广东省肇庆市。村委会在圩镇边缘，省道S226水谷线经过门前，分27个村民小组，博雅地名网记人口3400人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该村的建制自1950年的乡民会起，依次经乡政府（1953年）、初级社（1955年）、高级社（1957年）、生产大队（1958年），到1987年称村民委员会。[2]2021年9月，该村以牛大力入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2026年1月获「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
地名由来[edit]
解放初期设新和乡，大队成立时仍用此名。[3]
