蔡屋村是马宁镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东部“冷马”公路旁，毗邻冷坑镇，距圩镇6公里，下设2个村民小组，居民约1100余人，是镇域最东的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自村民多姓蔡。1968年曾称东风大队，1981年复用原名；1983年改乡，1989年改管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村民历来有做木材加工的传统，手艺较高，多数人做家具和木材加工，大小家具厂和木材加工厂合计四十余家，年产值三百余万元，被称为“蔡屋家私村”。村子靠近冷坑圩镇。[1]
