历史沿革[edit]
1958年成立钢铁大队，之后在1983年、1989年先后改为乡和管理区，1998年设村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里有木材加工的传统，从事家具加工的人较多；农业以传统种养为主，兼种花生、木薯、甘蔗，沙糖桔种植规模较大。建筑、装修、运输和外出务工也是特色产业。村集体经济收入薄弱。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
