群龙村是马宁镇下辖的行政村，在圩镇西北，紧靠“马蓝”公路，距圩镇约2公里，下设2个村民小组，居民约1000余人，是从蓝钟镇下竹水库迁来的水库移民村。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村委会原辖三条龙自然村，后嫌“三条龙”之名不好听，众议改称群龙。1958年设大队，1989年改称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。^[1]

以传统种养、桑蚕和甘蔗为主，外出务工也占相当比例；有少量集体经济收入，在全镇属少数。^[1]

2026年1月，评上「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2024年4月，进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2023年4月，列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。^[1]
