历史沿革[edit]
村名与镇名同源（见马宁镇条目）。集体化时期先是1955年的高级社、1958年的大队，其后依次改为乡（1983年）、管理区（1987年），到1998年成立村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村在平原，水稻为主，兼营其他种养业，经商和外出务工是村民收入的主要来源；村集体经济收入薄弱。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，评上「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
