石垌村是信宜市新宝镇所辖的行政村，在镇的东部，与思贺镇接壤。博雅地名网所载数据：全村分50个村民小组，1137户、5238人，总面积18.1平方千米，耕地1161亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间石垌河沿岸自上而下分为三段，称上石垌、中石垌、下石垌；解放初，上石垌另称上云村，中、下石垌并称石垌村，1962年组建生产队，1983年建乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

石垌河两岸大石特别多，故名石垌。[2]

地理环境[edit]

石垌村年平均气温20.8摄氏度，年降雨量约1477至1985毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]

经济[edit]

村里种植的主要经济作物是木薯、花生、大肉姜；特色收入来源有小水电站、林木。据同一网站所载，上一年全村农村经济总收入2185万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
