白龙村是信宜市新宝镇所辖的行政村，在镇的北部。博雅地名网所载数据：全村分22个村民小组，518户、2768人，总面积11.1平方千米，耕地971亩。[1]

民国年间归下新堡，建国前为白龙乡，1962年组建生产队，1983年建乡，1987年改称村民委员会，1989年改设管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传白龙河边的岩石缝在凌晨会升起白色雾柱，弥漫河畔，从高处看像一条翻腾的白龙，村名因此而起。[2]

白龙村年平均气温21.3摄氏度，年降雨量约1477至1985毫米，属南亚热带季风气候。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植的主要经济作物是木薯、香榄、大肉姜；特色收入来源有松木、杉木。据同一网站所载，上一年全村农村经济总收入1286万元。[1]
