双龙社区是怀乡镇中心区的社区，信宜市怀乡镇下设的两个社区之一，2010年9月13日设立。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

地名来自一则传说：从前有位风水先生路过此处，见山势连绵如双龙盘踞，便有了这个名字。[2]

社区设立于2010年9月13日，定名后沿用至今。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称双龙村民委员会。[1]

  • 2019年9月，名列2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
