历史沿革[edit]
村子位于地势较高的坡上，故称坡头。[2]
民国年间隶怀乡第五堡；1956年改为坡头队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称坡头村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植水稻、木薯、花生，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、生姜、三华梨；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约652万元（年份未注明）。[1]
