历史沿革[edit]
旧名怀乡围，后来因地处金冠塘与盈头坳之间，各取一字，改称金盈。[2]
民国年间隶怀乡二运乡；1953年立金盈乡；1958年改编为金盈大队。此后乡政府、管理区办事处等名称几度更替，1999年起定称金盈村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种植水稻、玉米、木薯、番薯，副业和特色产业有竹器编织、龙眼；据博雅地名网，上一年全村经济总收入约536万元（年份未注明）。[1]
