历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，这里是合江乡辖下的居民大队，人民公社化的1958年起属合江公社；1981年设合江镇居委会；1983年又归合江区，仍叫居民大队；直到2003年才定名为合江社区居民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据居委会自述，社区地处南亚热带，年平均气温23℃，年降雨量1890毫米；经济作物以蔬菜为主，居民多靠经商维生，上一年（未注年份）农村经济总收入1165.4万元。[1]居委会称，近年修建水泥村道3公里，让居民在家门口做生意，并招引企业落户圩镇，以解决闲置劳动力的就业。[1]
