洲林村位于悦城镇东部，国道321线横贯全村，东面是高要区禄步镇，南面是西江黄江水道，面积约9.06平方千米，分6个村民小组，人口1200多。据村情介绍，旧时林木茂密，常有斑鸠栖息，叫斑鸠林；方言里“洲”与“鸠”音近，改称斑洲林，后简称洲林。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1958年属新平乡的洲林村；1958年并乡，归悦城人民公社；1986年乡政府改为行政区，1991年1月称管理区办事处，1998年12月起为村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内引入多家加油站、白泥场和路边饭店，增加集体收入；山地种贡柑、沙糖桔和玉桂。[1]
荣誉[edit]
广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村之一（2026年1月）。[1]
