历史沿革[edit]

垌尾大队原属和平乡，1960年成立大队时按自然村名定名，1983年起称垌尾乡，1986年又变为农村管理区，1999年定名为垌尾村民委员会，此名用到现在。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年，垌尾村入选广东省卫生村名录，并列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
