历史沿革[edit]
村子原先是个埠头，渔民出海时从这里经过，村民就以「旧埠」为名。[1]
1950年，旧埠、陆地、坡塘等13条村成立旧埠大队；1983年改乡，1987年改管理区，1999年定名旧埠村委会。2017年陆地村从旧埠分出。[1][3]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记，村委会辖13条自然村，登记总人口6049人，党员110人（未注明年份）。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地5289亩，种水稻、花生和蔬菜。2019年9月，旧埠村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
