福田村是徐闻县龙塘镇的行政村，在镇境西北部，北与曲界镇、西与南山镇交界，面积15.56平方公里，下辖西松、塘口、高浮、赤岭等15个自然村，村委会设在福田新圩。[1]名称寓意幸福的气息洋溢满田野。[1]

2004年，全村1297户6334人，耕地12536亩，农业总产值4001万元；有小学9所。[1]福田在1952年建行政村，驻西松村，1954年成立福田乡，其后几经改称，1986年的村委会驻福田新街，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]

人物[edit]

西松村是清代书法家李梓瑶的故里；赤岭村是清代御史翁学海（官至江西提学副使）的祖籍。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产品是香蕉；2023年5月，所辖15个自然村全部获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
