历史沿革[edit]
社区所在地原名约场墟。据所载，1927年国民党一位姓文的团长奉命来此禁赌治乱，见此地平坦肥沃、旱涝保收，认为居住于此颇有福气，遂改名福田。[1]
2025年2月11日，福田镇与长宁镇合二为一，新镇沿用长宁镇之名。[2]
