历史沿革[edit]

因部分村庄的地面露出石头而得名。清代隶开平县古博都，民国年间划归第十区月山乡，1963年为月山公社石头大队，1984年改乡人民政府，1989年改管理区；1993年撤县设市后归开平市月山镇，到1999年定名石头村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

月山镇的三大工业集中区之一，名为月山石头工业集中区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
