长沙街道是广东省江门市开平市下辖的街道，位于开平市西南部，是开平市区所在的街道。辖区面积67平方千米，下辖9个社区和13个行政村，街道办事处设在良园路33号。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年9月，这里设立长沙公社；1993年11月，公社改置为街道。名称取自长沙滩，该处因河沙冲积而成。[2]

地理环境[edit]

街道北倚梁金山，南临潭江，与水口镇、赤坎镇、塘口镇、沙塘镇相邻，苍江河流经全境。国道G325、省道S274（稔广线）、开平大道和环城公路在境内交汇，北面可通开阳高速翠山湖出入口，南面到深茂铁路开平南站。[1]境内多低山丘陵，梁金山旅游风景区的主峰海拔456米，森林覆盖率为97%。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据街道办事处介绍，辖区共分176个村小组；户籍人口为8.27万，常住人口则达17.4万。旅居海外的华侨和港澳台同胞超过10万人。[1]百度百科记载的数字是2021年末户籍人口8.21万人。[2]博雅地名网另记辖区面积约54平方千米，与上述67平方千米的口径不同。[3]

街道以二、三产业为主，登记的市场主体有5680户，占开平市总量四分之一以上；其中规模以上工业企业32家。全街道2025年的地区生产总值为103.09亿元，在开平市占五分之一以上，社会消费品零售总额约占全市三分之一。[1]

食品业有旭日蛋品等企业，纺织服装业有科联织带、信迪染整、红日制衣等，建筑业有金辉华集团等。东汇城、益华广场、中业新城是三处大型商业综合体。[1]街道另有开元工业园（约1500亩，入园企业17家）和塔山工业园（约500亩，入园企业9家），同时正在建设南片区，它是江门承接产业转移的主平台之一。[1]

文化[edit]

非物质文化遗产方面，江门市级项目有4项，包括楼冈网圩和禾草灰咸鸭蛋传统制作技艺，另两项与开平疍家的饮食有关；开平市级项目有5项，包括杜澄龙舟、开元塔故事、松花皮蛋制作技艺等。[1]

辖区共有15所学校，开侨中学、金山中学和谭宏帙纪念小学在其中；公共设施有开平市博物馆、青少宫和两座公园。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

开元塔建于清乾隆十六年（1751年），共七层。[2]三江社区的宝源坊入选第八批广东省古村落；南溟里是陈荣捷的故里。[1]
